Student Financial Systems Coordinator II

Seminole State College of Florida is seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated, qualified and experienced Student Financial Systems Coordinator II. The person in this role collaborates with Department Director, Assistant Director and support staff to facilitate development of Financial Aid issues and priorities. Seminole State College of Florida, located in the northern Orlando metropolitan area, is an award-winning, 4-campus comprehensive state college of 32,000 students which has experienced record growth accompanied by rising academic and student success.

The Student Financial Systems Coordinator II will be responsible for the ongoing implementation and development of PeopleSoft (PS) financial aid components, functionalities, and related systems. This person serves as the problem solver in overseeing PeopleSoft setup, testing, and implementation into production. The Student Financial Systems Coordinator II serves as the liaison between the technical and functional staff. The range of support activities will be broad and will include complex problem solving, as well as maintenance level activities. Working in conjunction with other staff, this position will facilitate cross-technology problem solving, guiding staff on usage of applications, customization and operations support.

This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution; a minimum two years of experience in implementation and development of PeopleSoft Campus Solution, preferably in a state or community college context and a minimum two years of experience with Federal Title IV aid, preferably in a community college or technical college environment. A Master’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution; five years of experience with Federal Title IV aid, preferably in a state or community college environment and supervisory experience is desired.
