Student Financial Aid Coordinator II
Federal Verification Coordinator
Description: Responsible for direct supervision of the Verification and Document Editing of Student Financial Affairs. This requires comprehensive knowledge of the financial aid profession, need analysis, and governmental agencies such as IRS, VA, and INS, for analyzing applications and related data sent to Student Financial Affairs from prospective and current students.
Responsible for coordinating the input, auditing and verification of financial statements submitted through the application process for all aid programs. This complex process requires extensive knowledge of federal verification computer-based support programs plus detailed knowledge of federal verification guidelines. Write and revise as needed the specifications used as a guide for the automated verification program and assist with identifying and resolving system problems.
Salary: $34,000
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree and two years of relevant experience.
