Message from the President

 

Dear FASFAA Members and Friends: 

 

Welcome to those of you that may be new to FASFAA.  I am very pleased that you have joined the FASFAA Team.  Our membership is truly our strength.

 

The current economic times are having an impact that is being felt by other state associations, their members and their schools.  FASFAA members are also experiencing these challenging economic times.  Because of this, we must begin:

 

"Rethinking our Ideas and our Strategies in order to have a Successful Future"

 

We cannot predict the outcome of the economy or the future budget challenges ahead, therefore the coming year the executive board will work to implement strategies to increase membership, and benefits to our members. 

 

We will look at increasing Training opportunities throughout the year.  A schedule of all training will be placed on our website, so look for the dates and locations near you.  We will also be evaluating our website to determine how we can improve the functionality, as well as services provided by the host site.

 

We have an exciting year ahead of us and I look forward to serving and representing you.  I welcome your comments and suggestions.  Never hesitate to contact me or any of the executive board members; we are here to serve you and the association.

 

Again, I look forward to a great year ahead, and hope that we all take time to find opportunities for growth and that we take time to help others.
