2022 New & Intermediate Financial Aid Officer Workshop

Welcome New & Intermediate Financial Aid Officers,

My name is Odalys Portela and I am honored to be your New and Intermediate Aid Officer Workshop Chair for the 2021-2022 FASFAA year.  Throughout the years, FASFAA has shown its commitment to the financial aid community by offering workshops that help its members build their professional resume and network.  This year’s theme is “Back Together Again 2022” and we are looking forward to meeting and collaborating with all of you in-person during this year’s New and Intermediate Aid Officers workshop!

The workshop is designed to ensure you go back to your institutions with a wealth of information from industry leaders that will help you serve your students better and keep your institution in compliance.  One of the sessions we will be providing, the Application Process, will also give you the ability to earn a NASFAA Credential.  You will also have opportunities to network with fellow colleagues during our Workshops, Welcome Reception and Luncheon.

We understand we are still facing challenging times and there may be some reservations about attending an in-person workshop, however, please know we will be taking all the necessary precautions to follow CDC, state and local guidelines to make you feel as safe as possible during the workshop
