The FASFAA charity for 2022-2023 is Quality Life Center. Their mission is “to strengthen and instill pride in family and community through the development of programs and services that cultivate self-development, teach self-discipline, build confidence, and promote cultural awareness, health, and one’s highest human potential.”
Quality Life Center offers several programs that help students increase their knowledge. Some of these programs consist of their A.C.E. Programs – Arts, Character and Education After-School Program and Summer Camp, Teen Leadership Program, Sound Mind Program and Community Programs. These programs provide a structured educational environment to help students expand their knowledge, build confidence, discipline, and character. The A.C.E. programs provide options from tutoring and academic activities to college readiness and college tours, daily meditation, and on-the-job training opportunities. The Sound Mind Program provides outpatient counseling to help them overcome a variety of mental health hurdles, while providing workshops to manage their daily mental health. Quality Life Center provides a variety of community-oriented programs to educate, empower and strengthen the community at large.
FASFAA’s goal is to raise funds and collect needed supplies for the Quality Life Center of Ft. Myers.
FASFAA’s goal this year is $4,500! Together we can make a difference in the lives of the Florida youth.
Help us, help those in need by donating to this charity. Keep an eye on your FASFAA emails for a list of supplies we will be collecting at the annual conference.
