The Financial Aid Counselor is responsible for counseling students and parents regarding all financial aid programs. Also, is responsible for awarding, monitoring, and inputting financial aid. Works with students to assist them in completing all paperwork required for financial aid. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. The VA portion of this counselor position is responsible for maintaining the Veterans benefits programs to include monitoring the students, certifying the students in VA Once as well as maintaining eligibility and benefit records of VA students. The VA Counselor will stay up to date on VA benefits and military TA requirements. The VA counselor will assist VA students/dependents in applying for educational Benefits.
