Perform compliance monitoring tasks and provide assistance to schools with respect to regulatory matters pertaining to Title IV funding, State Grants and Scholarships, VA and worker retraining programs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform compliance monitoring reviews in accordance with audit program on file.
- Perform lapsed days reviews.
- Assist in preparing audit and program review responses to outside agencies.
- Assist in the SFA Audit process performed by independent CPA firms to ensure deadlines are met for reporting purposes.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- One to two years experience as a SFA Compliance Auditor.
- 3 -5 years experience in financial aid with a minimum of 1-2 years in management.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Requires good computer skills and Microsoft office experience.
- BA degree and prior audit experience preferred.
