Region Workshop 

Information 

Good Day Region IV,

WOW! Registration and the start of a new year is now over. It always adds a bit of pep to my step to see all of the new  and eager students. I have to admit changing school during the Fall push is a significant challenge but I can happily say the experience was invaluable. Throughout this year I plan to coordinate up to date training that will prepare us not only for the ongoing changes for the 12/13 school year but also for the 13/14 school year. Keeping at the forefront of all that I do our chief goal of our FAFSA President Nathan Basford training, training, and more training.

I have been employed my Hillsborough Community College since May 2012 . Prior to HCC I spend time with the University of Tampa in Tampa Florida and Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, TN. Throughout this financial aid experience I have learned the importance of customer service, patience, listening and the importance of a strong foundation in why we do what we do with financial aid.

It is my intention to train Region IV on  the most up to date information that I can about our ever evolving financial aid field as well as  sharing insights on customer service. I look forward to serving as the Region 4 Representative and I welcome any suggestions that you may have for our  upcoming training sessions.
