President's Message

Dear FASFAA Members,

Welcome to 2026–2027! On July 1st, my year serving you as FASFAA President began. I am excited for all we will do together this year. The theme this year is Better Together. As we head into the 60^th anniversary of the great work FASFAA has done, we also look to the future as we work together to continue strengthening this association. I will be sending you a message at the beginning of each month with highlights and upcoming events. I am looking forward to connecting with each of you this year!

Volunteer!

We need lots of help this year with FASFAA! Volunteering is a great way to support FASFAA. Volunteering doesn’t take a lot of time, but it is necessary for a member-run organization like ours. We are especially in need of outgoing individuals who would like to work on social media and communications.

Community Conversation - Federal Change Conversation & Community Update

Join us for a Community Conversation focused on recent federal updates and their current impact on financial aid administration and student success. This interactive session will provide members with an opportunity to discuss federal changes, share questions and concerns, and exchange strategies for navigating evolving regulations and guidance. Participants will also receive important FASFAA updates, learn about upcoming initiatives, and engage with colleagues from across the state in a collaborative discussion designed to keep our profession informed, connected, and prepared.
