General Job Description:



You're a born leader with excellent communication skills and a background in financial aid. In this role you will be directly responsible for the day-to-day activities of up to five Student Finance Support Supervisors and indirectly responsible for the supervision of up to 50 Student Finance Support Representatives. You will manage all facets of team production, accuracy, and quality, and will be solely responsible for meeting the key performance indicators of assigned supervisors, while maintaining focus on the best interest of the student, campus and company. You will also work with internal personnel to effectively and efficiently operationalize regulatory changes and process improvements. You will provide feedback to training and customer support groups to ensure the highest quality of service, and will maintain relationships with internal regulatory, audit, and compliance departments and external regulatory bodies. Most importantly, you will ensure optimal functioning of the department and make a difference in the lives of many.


Job Responsibilities:


• Manage/monitor staff and provide process improvement recommendations related to quality, consistency, compliance, and efficiency
• Manage and monitor subordinates in administrative tasks, including attendance and tardiness tracking, payroll, and corrective actions, etc.
• Complete routine performance assessments and provide regular, structured feedback and coaching to support individual and department goals
• Manage and monitor internal quality control, support desk feedback, and audit results for operational activities to ensure timely identification of risks or opportunities
• Work with internal personnel to effectively and efficiently operationalize regulatory changes and process improvements
• Provide feedback and training to customer support groups to ensure the highest quality of service
• Maintain relationships with internal regulatory, audit, and compliance departments and external regulatory bodies
• Assist in hiring and training staff
• Attend and successfully complete all training for this position as required at any time by the company
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum 5 years financial aid experience with 2 years in a management position
• Knowledge of CampusVue program preferred
• Ability to hire, train, supervise, and coach supervisors and their direct reports
• Ability to multi-task, organize, establish priorities, and adapt to change
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Demonstrated ability to fulfill Company Key Behaviors
• Ability to work assigned/flexible hours necessary to complete the job on a weekly basis, including weekends if necessary
