Position Title:Coordinator, Financial Aid
Pay Range: $28,000 - $32,000
Normal Work Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm
Anticipated Starting Date: 07-23-2012
Work Location: Pensacola Campus
Job Summary:
Evaluate and award student financial aid according to federal, state, and institutional policy and procedure. Provide financial aid advising and counseling to students and parents through appointments, walk-in, phone, and email contact. Assist at the front counter or on the phone for advising and financial aid counseling. Collaborate with other UWF departments and staff members to insure good working relationships and accurate information is being disseminated regarding financial aid. Interpret and implement federal, state and institutional policies and procedures related to financial aid. Conduct presentations at on- or off-campus events, as requested.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience.
