Conference Chair Message

Dear FASFAA Colleagues,

Your 2024 FASFAA Conference committee is busy planning the annual conference. At this time, we are dealing with a lot of changes in the financial aid world and there is even more to come. Now more than ever, it is especially important that you make use of all available training opportunities.

We hope you will make plans to join us at the brand new Sunseeker Resort, in beautiful and picturesque Charlotte Harbor, Florida. We will also be holding the Directors Summit which begins on Monday May 20, 2024. Preconference and Conference sessions will begin on Tuesday May 21, 2024. The conference activities will wrap up on Friday May 24, 2024.

This will be an information packed, fun-filled networking opportunity. You will not want to miss it! So, make plans now to attend as we “Explore A Whole New World.”  

The conference committee is working diligently to create an event that will be suited for all, regardless of the experience level. We are planning to have sessions by DOE, Office of Inspector General, SASFAA friends as well as from business partners and fellow FASFAA Colleagues.

Our purpose at FASFAA is to support financial aid professionals, agencies and other associations related to student aid in Florida while maintaining strong ties and participation at the regional and national levels. As we “Explore A Whole New World” during this time of unprecedented changes, we are committing to work even more diligently to continue to support the achievement of each student’s educational goals.
